No there's not a lot of shops. It's a small fishing village. During the summer season there would be some small artisan shops open (but not a lot). The charm of the quay is the fact its a quintessential traditional Irish fishing village. The fishing takes priority. The village also has an abundance of lovely thatched cottages and really excellent places to eat.
