On Friday at 2:17 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC. Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph for Northern Outer Banks until 4 p.m. this afternoon.

On Thursday at 7:29 a.m. a coastal flood advisory was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC. The advisory is for Coastal Pender, Coastal New Hanover and Coastal Brunswick.

The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a high wind warning at 1:45 a.m. on Thursday valid for Friday between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m.

On Thursday at 1:59 p.m. the NWS Wakefield VA issued a wind advisory valid for Friday between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. The advisory is for Western Currituck, Eastern Currituck, Norfolk/Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.
