Multiple WWE Superstars have spoken out in favor of WWE adding a mid-card women's championship similar to the NXT Women's North American Championship.

WWE SmackDown had a tag team match on the card for last night's episode that was supposed to determine the new number-one contender for the Women's Championship held by Nia Jax but no specific outcome was declared through it.

Nia Jax would have an opponent for Bad Blood, where she would defend the women’s championship against either Bayley or Naomi, Either Bayley or Naomi would have to leave SmackDow
